Mothers Day x

Over a digi choosday with have a Mothers Day challenge starting today.

I always find this challenge hard to participate because I lost my mum when I was 20 years old. So I'm dedicated this card to my mum Janet Cooke gone but definitely not forgotten.

I want to share with you one of my fondest memory of my mum.  I have bright ginger hair something my mum always wanted. As a little girl I ran remember her trying to die her own hair the same color as mine. Of course it went horribly wrong and she had this bright orange mess left behind so she had to wear a hat for days :-)

Anyway back to the current challenge.....

For my card  I used the butterflies, digi and flowers from the gorgeous Rose Budd collection which is available as a digi collection or on a cd. The scrabble tiles are from Work & Play 9 Love and Kisses collection which you can buy here.

Take a look at Try Stampin' on Tuesdays  this week we have another lovely sketch for you to follow.

I decided to make card that could be used for a duel purpose. I think I will use it as a goodbye card, but it also could be good for a get well soon or sympathy card.

The Hot air balloon is cut using the Silhouette Cameo. The papers are downloads form the Polka doodles store
