Hi

Come on over to Digi Choosday for the start of this weeks challenge.

Theme: Animals or insects.

No only that come on over to the blog for..

Out of the box technique tutorial

Your will need.
Digi Image
Pencil
Scissors
Die cutting Shape
Die cutting Machine, such as a Bigshot ot Grand Calibur

Method

1) Choose an image (I used the beautiful Lily from the Lily Lady bug collection. You can find her  here.
2) Place your metal die shape over the image.
3) Using a pencil mark inside the die  (I used a circle) above and below the area(s) you want to leave outside of the die shape. It should look like this.....

TIP!! If you also mark right the way round the outside of the die shape you can use this as a guideline when your replacing the die to put through the machine later.

4)Take a pair of scissors and from the edge of your paper or card cut  just over the line you drew

5) Put the die shape back over the image, leaving the bit your don't want cutting over the die.

6) Run through a die cutting machine.

Hope you enjoyed my first ever tutorial. Don't forget this collection is available on a CD or as a instant download.
